Your next challenge:
The MIS Data Analyst work closely with finance analysts, controllers, and fellow data analysts to support both operational and strategic initiatives.
You will:
- Monitor and follow up on daily
and monthly data flow executions to ensure accuracy, consistency, and
timely delivery.
- Contribute to the preparation
and maintenance of Finance's golden sources of data used for reporting and
analysis.
- Support Controlling and
Financial Analysts in their day-to-day activities by providing reliable
data, insights, and analytical support.
- Develop, enhance, and maintain
Power BI dashboards and reports to support business stakeholders.
- Design and build data flows,
data models, and reporting solutions as part of the continuous improvement
and automation of finance processes.
- Investigate data quality
issues and participate in root cause analysis and remediation activities.
- Collaborate with business and
IT stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable
analytical solutions.
- Contribute to process optimization initiatives aimed at increasing efficiency, reliability, and automation across the Finance function.
Your skills:
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a Data Analyst, MIS
Analyst, Business Intelligence Analyst, or similar role.
- Experience working in a Finance, Banking, or
Financial Services environment is highly desirable.
- Fluency in both English and French is mandatory - any other language will be a plus
- Strong junior candidates with relevant technical and analytical skills will also be considered.
- Advanced proficiency in Power BI, including data
modeling, DAX, dashboard development, and report design.
- Strong SQL
skills with the ability to write complex queries independently.
- Solid
understanding of database concepts and data structures.
- Ability to
design and troubleshoot data extraction, transformation, and loading
processes.
- Experience with other Business Intelligence tools (Tableau, Qlik, Business Objects, Cognos, etc.) is considered an advantage.
- Good understanding of finance and financial data.
- Familiarity with management controlling, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, or performance management processes is a strong asset.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
